Is it safe to plug/unplug the TRRS cable while connected to computer?

Although it’s generally safe in most cases, it’s not recommended as it may damage the keyboard.

How to flash firmware?

If you have a pre-built keyboard, you normally don’t need to flash the firmware yourself since it comes pre-flashed.

  1. Enter bootloader mode.

With the keyboard connected to your computer, press the Reset button. You will then see the keyboard recognized as a storage device.

If the Reset button doesn’t work, you can open the case and press the RESET button on the Xiao RP2040.

  1. Flash the firmware.

Download the TOTEM QMK firmware file from here or use your own compiled firmware, then drag the firmware (.uf2 file) into the keyboard’s storage device.

💡 Note that you need to flash the firmware separately for both the left and right keyboards.
